Donna Independent School District is proud to announce that Superintendent Dr. Angela Dominguez has been named the 2025 Region One Superintendent of the Year by the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). Dr. Dominguez received official notification of the honor on Friday, May 30, from the Region One Education Service Center.

Donna ISD is celebrating a historic achievement by the Veterans Middle School Battle of the Books team. On February 26th, the team secured first place at the Regional Battle of the Books competition, marking the first time a Donna ISD school has ever claimed this prestigious title at the middle school level.
